I'm running because I love this state and everyone in it. All Marylanders deserve an equal opportunity to succeed. My message is one of unity in an increasingly divisive and hostile political environment.
I'm running because I feel a strong calling to do so now. 9A is the most competitive race in the state. Your vote will determine whether we continue down the path we are on, or if we are ready to fight for eachother and our state. There is no guarantee I won't be gerrymandered out of the district next election cycle.
I'm running because theres too much at stake in this election cycle. In 2026, the Maryland General Assembly showed no remorse for the bad policy and bloated government that have gotten us into the mess we face today. I'm ready to hold feet to the fire in Annapolis.
I'm running to stop the slide into socialism. I lived in NYC for over a decade. I watched the city under Mayor Bloomberg, who would be considered a republican by today's standards, descend into the socialist mayor that sits in city hall today. Maryland is not far behind.
I'm running for the future. For the gen z'ers struggling to find their piece of the the American dream, and for our sons and daughters, nieces and nephews, such that all may prosper here. Marylanders can and will have a better life without the government sticking its hand in your pocket at every opportunity and making up new ways to do so as they go along. Marylanders will be happier without the moral warriors on high horses dividing us down racial, religious, and all sorts of other new and made up lines.
I'm running for the Marylanders that came before me. Hundreds of my direct ancestors put their blood into this ground where they lie today. I feel a responsibility to stop them from turning over in their graves at what this state has become.
I'm running because the two party system is broken. Primary elections result in the furthest left candidates representing democrats, and thus, an ultra-libral body of legislators is making laws in the state house.
I'm running because I see a path forward. We might not be able to break the super majority in this election cycle. But we can certainly do so in 2030. I am making an 8 year commitment to this seat. I will find the next generation of young leaders that will challenge the status quo and restore our faith in Maryland government in the next election and beyond.
I'm running because I know the job and I can do it. And I want to do it. I did the equivalent of internship in Annapolis this session. There are already quite a few democrats who hate to see me coming. The republican party is not currently effective, though it has strong individuals. I know that the next four years will not be easy.
I'm running because I'm not afraid to speak my truth. I've never been great at shutting up (but I'm working on it, lol). I'm unfazed by walking an uncomfortable road, Having spent my first 40 years as a sponge of knowledge, I look forward to dedicating the next 40 to learning more about life, especially in becoming the best family man, friend and legislator I can be.
I'm running because I want to represent you-- from the suburban communities in Ellicot City and Columbia to the back roads of Western Howard and Damascus.

Make maryland a net energy exporter by using gas as a bridge to a 100% clean nuclear future. Maryland as a partner in energy production and sales.

The school system is failing, while we pour good money after bad. The blueprint is a microcosm of irresponsible government spending and misguided idealism.

Protect our Farms, the greatest culture staple of our state is becoming an endangered species. We need to focus on building more housing where it belongs.
Maryland will partner will energy producers to build a 10GW gas fired power plant at Brandon Shores. In doing so, we become a net energy exporter by 2030. We will charge data centers paying into Strategic Energy Investment Fund to build out our nuclear infastructure by adding nuclear reactors to Calvert Cliffs and SMR's as that technology becomes more readily available. End the Empower Program. Withdraw from RGGI. Free energy for Marylanders living below the poverty line.
Our education system is broken and needs to change at its core. The American education system is designed to create loyal factory workers, not entrepreneurs and critical thinkers. Teach kids values. Emphasize competition. Get students out of the classroom. Integrate the best students across grade levels. Phonics based reading. STEM and Vocational Programs. Learn life skills in school. Teach civics and our real history, not woke idealogy. Keep the gender debate away from our kids.
Build housing where it should be built. Revitalization of Baltimore. Restore our great city back to its grandeur. Emphasis on building in and around smaller cities like Frederick and Ocean City. Limit local governments from charging exorbitant property taxes. Incentivize developers to build affordably. Support programs that allow young Marylanders to buy a home and start a family. Uninhabited homes taxed out of existence.
Protect our farmland from solar farms and power lines. Defend our neighbors in Frederick, Carrol, and Baltimore counties from the Piedmont Reliability Project. Immediately suspend property taxes on farms. Train the next generation of farmers. Increase the amount of food sourced from our farms in our schools. No tax on diesel fuel. Farm internships at the high school and collegiate level. Farm state owned lands.
How much more can we take? Our ancestors would be disgraced to see how much we have let the government walk all over us. Stop taxing Marylanders, taking our hard earned money and giving it to special interest groups that cater to liberal ideals and a national agenda. By reeling in nonprofit largesse, the state can hold onto its grant money (aka your tax dollars) and remove the state income tax.
Maryland has become the least affordable state in the nation. As a result, we are losing people in droves. Democrats in Annapolis absolutely refuse to take a cut and continue to expand the size of government at the expense of the taxpayer. Much of state's expenditure feeds liberal idealogy and is outright government overreach. Who do these legislators think they are? Robbing everyday Marylanders to give handouts to their friends.
